Missed call - returned it aand it simply said 'This number does not accept incoming calls' with no explanation of who it was...

Claim to be HSBC, could not verify identity

Got a call from 01133068000,When i returned the call back, it says that number does not accept incoming calls.

Got a 1 missed call from 01133068000 today. I was expecting a call from HSBC re internet banking so called them and they said there was a note on the account saying the support department had tried to call so presume this number is Mr.HSBC

I received call whilst away from the phone, didn't recognise the number, googled it and found this website. I do have an HSBC account. It must be them trying to sell me another savings account.

received a call from this nr. too but happely pushed the wrong button.
reading the word HSBC several times on this page, has this anything to do with the fact that I checked my HSBC account this morning???
after that I received an sms telling me a voicemail was left.
reading all this, I don't think I'll bother charging my phone to check my voicemail.

It is def HSBC - sheffield branch. I did the 'call me back' thing online and then the guy rang me from this number

I can also reconfirm that this number is HSBC Service Quality Team based in Yorkshire. Its so frustratig when you are waiting for a call from them and then you get a missed call you cant call back on.

If you are trying to contact the Service Quality Team of HSBC contact 08456 039 093 directly. I spoke to a lady called Emily Stanton who was very helpful.

You can ask for a Refrence number and an email from them to keep you updated as to what action they are taking on your account.

I have had the same number call me too. You seem to think its the HSBC Sheffield branch phone number. Well, I live in North Wales, and bank with a local HSBC branch.

Ditch the bank, the next call might be a scam. Any company that sends these calls must be crap.

It is HSBC.  I Have had fraud go on my account and this is the number HSBC support team call from I work for a large firm who use a 01189 number and this goes through to a similar voicemail

Confirm that it is the HSBC.
I just missed the call on my mobile and they rang my landline, caller ID showed this number.

0113 is the dialling code for Leeds, but the lady I spoke to said she was in Sheffield, at the quality service department.

It's defenitely HSBC! Internet it's defenitely the greatest invention in the world!

I've had a similar experience.  I have been trying to talk to a HSBC mortgage advisor for over a week and contacted customer services because they weren't calling me back.  So perhaps I have unwittingly registering a complaint?

It is the quality service department of H.S.B.C.

I recieved a call Saturday am, and same as everyone else when i try calling it back
I never answer my phone if i dont recognise the number
Can i just ask why people think it's HSBC, they are 0845 or 0800 numbers!!!!
