This number called me and i missed it when im calling it back i get told the other person has hung up.but its not even rang?

I left my phone at home today and when I came back I noticed this number was a missed call.I don't call back numbers I don't know,but Googled the number to see if I could find it.Curious when I found this so thought I would respond.

i looked on web yesterday and found a message saying this number is a company trying to get you to subscribe to them for finding the best deals for online shopping they charge £85 for the pleasure
cant wait for them to call tommorow gonna have some fun winding them up

just found out its a company called the money club

get numerous calls from this number and when i rang back no dial tone

this number rings me at least once a day - i have tried ringing back and nothing happens - is there any way to stop it calling me?

Used to get a lot of calls from this nuisance number and could never find out exactly who they were. 01392 is the STD code for Exeter. However, BT were very helpful and told me that this is not one of their number allocations, but belongs to Eurobell. I wrote to Eurobell, asking them to stop their customer from doing this, and reminding them that it is an illegal practice. Eurobell did not reply but there have been no more calls.  From what I have picked up on the web, there is some link to an organisation called The Money Club.

I took a call from this company, even twice in the space of five mins, with a different person,  and yes, they are called they money club, and allege that they can find you any item such as tv's, fridges, gifts,insurance, or mortgage deals you want, for the cheapest price, with a further 10% discount on top.  Apparently they tell me you get a free 8 week trial, and then they want £98 to subscribe for the year.  I see someone else, was quoted a different price in another write up on them.

Even though we have not taken them up on this, we still get repeated phonecalls.

I too have had numerous calls from this number, it is correctly reported above as a line owned by Eurobell and used by a company called the Money Club. You can register with BT to have the calls blocked using one of there services which is free but it does not always work as the calls still seem to filter through although not as frequently. The reason the line is dead when you answer is that they have an auto dial system which rings say......150 numbers at one time but there call centre may only employ 50 staff so only 50 of the calls may be answered by them hence the line remaining silent for the remainder of there calls. I dont think anyone will be silly enough to take these up on there scheming offer.

Had about 3 calls again today.One message left on my answering machine,sounded like someone sighing.Its my mobile I get them on,maybe Orange can block the number.

This number calls my fiancés’ mobile on a daily basis. My partner doesn't answer numbers she doesn't recognise so I took the call. The women calling wouldn't speak to me, give me her name or where she was calling from.
I tried to explain very politely that my fiancé would appreciate the company stop calling her but the caller hung up.

Very interested to find out who this company is and how to get hold of them.

We get nearly daily calls from a woman calling herself Claire from The Money Club.

Ww have started a little game to see how long we can keep her holding on the line.

We say we are going to get the person she has asked for and put the phone by the radio and leave it there, just interupting now and again to say we are just location the person.

About 4 minutes is the best so far before she hangs up.

After we have had a bit more fun for a few more calls we will also tell her we have reported her as we are registered under the Telephone Preference Service.

I have 5 missed calls off this number today in a matter of 3 hours.  I too dont like answering to numbers I am not sure of and looked it up and found this site.  Very useful indeed!  I will know to keep ignoring it - however, on another site I read that this was a nuisance number and that you should be extremely rude and swear at them and they wont call again!  Mmmmm anyone wishing to try it out!

After messing them around for a couple of weeks keeping them hanging on the phone,we told them all calls had been logged and we had reported them to TPS, not one single call since.

had one to-day the second so far will use some of the suggestions if they try again thanx

It rings.
You answer but nobody says anything.
The phone goes dead.
The same happens when you call them back.
So I've stopped responding now.
They still call me sometimes though.

This number rung my lover, but she was too busy up a eucalyptus tree to answer. I answered for her and they offered me a job at Leeds United.

this  number is so  dangerous , i am aware of all these phone scams and very careful all the time , but you can't believe what these f>>>>  did to me , i answered them once awhile a go  and that guy was saying he is from the money club ...etc   i  said no thanks and hung up the phone , they kept calling and i never answered as i marked the number , but to my suprise today i got my credit card bill  and there was  a 95 pounds charge that only could come from these theafs , i just wounder how can they charge your card even if you never given any details ??   can some one advice  and would credit companies refund this money>?
