Any one know who this is I keep getting calls ??

Randomly had a call to my bfs phone number? Phoned back and was a recorded message from Scottish Power that gave me an 0845 number. I didn't phone it back.

This number has been phoning my mobile and hanging up for two weeks now. At least twice a day. Really pissing me off.

Been calling me for a few weeks now. I have complained to Scottish Power about it and they are not sure where the number is being generated from....
They are investigating it - they think there may be a link between Setanta customers and this number from Scottish Power ... not sure if that would fit in with anyone here?
Anyway  - they're looking into it and will be providing me with an update

Got a call today, phoned back and they say it's from Scottish Power.

Changed energy suppliers on Sunday, I suspect either uswitch or moneysupermarket selling numbers !!

I text them back telling them to remove me from there files

Been calling me 4 times a day for two weeks now.how do i stop it?

Same here, it's been phoning me every day at really random times (sometimes as late as 8pm). I refuse to answer it. If it was a genuine call then they would leave a voicemail,so it's obviously a cold call.

Keep getting these calls too and its doing my head in.  Both to my mobile and land line......

I got a call from this number just now and its Scottish Power trying to sell business as I visited their website. Just thought you might like to know for definate.

This number been calling me for ages now. Is it a hospital number??

Sarah, had you of read the previos comments you would see that it is Scottish Power and NOT a hospital.

Thanks for all the above comments. I too have been getting at least 4 calls a day/night from the above number and as I originate from Scotland and still habe family there at first feared it may have been a hospital as the voicemessage left was unclear. I have never been on Scottish Powers website nor have I been on uswitch or moneysupermarket either.
I normally ensure I dont give out my mobile number online apart from a couple of weeks ago I got an email offering free Oreos - when I went into it it then changed to a free laptop - once I got started it was basically going through loads of marketing sites and yep one of the questions was your current mobile phone provider and number which I did complete :( - however I did not finish questionairre and thought all info I had entered had been cancelled which obviously it had not.
Does anyone know how to bar these types of calls similar to the BT TPS service ?

I have been receiving calls for about a week now. Phone rings, I answer they hang up......

I am going to send them a text, stating if these calls do not stop I will report the company to the relevant authority.

OMG! surely there should be law for what time they can call!
Just got a call from them at 8:40pm! This is darn right rude, I have a little kid and shes having a nightmare going to sleep.

Just had a call from them. WTF its nearly 9pm. Same as above. woke my kids up to.
