i just called from this number to a Skype number that comes through to my laptop, when I called it back (because I missed it) it turns out that it is a company called Financial Services and it really annoyed me as i ran for the phone and cut my bloody finger on a nail in the wall as I ran for the phone!!!

I just got a bleedin call from this number - it's the 7th time in 24 hours - I am not impressed!!!

Whoever it is, they are acting illegally.  Why not contact BT, who is the carrier or, if that fails, go to OFCOM.

By the way, the number is from Northwich in Cheshire, probably the Winsford district.

hi i just thought i would let u no that this number is from a company called financial connexions n they r in winsford, they r just interested in gettin u a free quote 4 life insurance? they r not actin illegally n callin bt wont help,

Alomg with the rest of you I have had this number call me over 11 times in the past 24 hours. I dont answer it but they dont seem to get the message

Yes I've received 8 or so calls in the last 48 hours.

I'm on the TPS too - why do companies think cold calling works for the 0.001% business they get they p!55 off the other 99.999% of the population.

I just answered it and they put the phone down. What a waste of time!!!!

If this number calls me again I will take action - I am sick of them calling when someone in my family is sick and I am waiting for a call - how the hell do I get them to leave them to leave alone?

I have just had a missed call from this number, its a pain in the back side - how did they get my number, I am ex directory and am very careful who I give my number to!!!

Just had a call - apparently I answered a survey for them about life insurance.

And I'm 19.

They called me on my mobile - while I was at work!  Not happy at all!

I just got a call from thsi number on my mobile but they hung up when I answered.  I wondered if it was because I asked for a moneysupermarket.com mortgage quote today but from the other comments on here doesn't sound like  that had much to do with it.

I Just got call from this number at 20.50 pm but i missed that call.

10+ calls in 42 hours and all thay do is hang up, i'm fed up with how do i stop them calling me.

My wife has had a call from these jokers every day for the past week. When she has answered it, they start trying to give her "something for free" (No such thing!) at which point she has told them she's not interested. Then they try calling the next day, and she tells them the same. 7 days on the trot!!! They've just done it again tonight.

If I made unwanted nuisance phone calls to the same number over and over again, I'm sure I would be threatened with prosecution for harrassment. My next call will be to the police - never mind BT!!

I am sick of this crowd can no one do anything about it? Rush to the phone and it just goes dead when I pick up!

I missed a call from this number on 21st Jan, but I got no answer when I tried to call back to find out who it was.  After reading the above, I'm glad to say that I've had no further calls from them.

I have had three calls since 9am this morning.  One hung up and the other two were from quite rude salesman who told me "If you listened, you would realise what we can do for you..."  Furious, I told them I was not interested and to stop calling me with immediate effect.  They hung up.  Lets hope thats the end of it!

Just had call from this number..female voice  "hello, mrs carter?" I said yes and the 'phone went dead. Glad I looked it up befire trying to call them back.
I too am ex-directory and careful about who gets my number but it doesn't seem to stop them!
