I work for a Transport company and one of our drivers revieves load of calls from this nuimber but no one ever answers???......who is it?

I had these too, done a ring back (with-held of course;-) ) it just says that I have been called by a representative of the "OTTO" Group???
We are exdirectory- so someone has sold our number!
Who the Otto are they?!

I have done some research on the OTTO Group. Their name is Otto Versand (Versand is German for mail-order) and it seems that they are the owners of something called MyCatalogues who distribute several British fashion catalogues.  Here are some of them:

So, at some time, perhaps you have bought something by mail order from one of those companies, and they have passed your telephone number to the others in their group.

It is their debt recovery department as far as I know.

I get loads of calls from this number on my mobile & had no idea who they were until I found this thread. Like others, I am met with silence when I do answer their calls & then they just hang up. So now I've set my mobile to automatically refuse all calls from this number - it's now 17:40 on Wednesday 21st May & they've averaged six calls a day in the past week alone, even calling on Sundays! Now I know who they are, I'm definitely keeping their calls barred. Thanks for your help, everyone.

This number calls either early in the morning before 8.30am then continues throughout the day. I also get greeted with a silence.This becomes irritating as then i end up turning off my phone just to avoid the constant ringing of all hours.

Just my mobile phone provider (Vodafone)with complaint. 3 times logging and the police can be contacted. That should (hopefully) still these idiots.

I have been receiving loads of calls from this number over past few weeks, glad I looked it up on here!  These people should know better than to make silent calls, it is not fair on the consumer!

I have been getting these calls for about a week now.  I called it back once but refuse to again as this will be at a cost to me.  I have now e-mailed them through their website and threatened to report it if i recieve anymore.

Grrrrrrrrrr!!!!   They dont speak when you answer sooooooo i will not be answering the phone to them lolol....think its freemans debt dept cuz i did get a lil bit behind with my payments....Whoops! Time for a new moby number lol

i never asnweres thank god i never they call all times of the day it is no 7.30 pm and they just woke up my 2 yr old with there constant phone calls

They have been calling me for the last few weeks now, as i run freemans cataloug and some customers of mine only make part payment. I have put my fax machine to reject the call and print out report when they do call so i can lodge an harrasment case. I am going to my local police station to report this also. There is no-one there when u pick up no its well pi**ing me off. Good luck to eveyonelse who tackles these stupid annoying people. DONT let them get away with it!!!
