Automated message for loan approval.  Calling them back does nothing except get another automated message.

We got the call just now at 7:52pm PST from a 213-416-2885

Is this a Scam?

Automated message re confirmation of loan - 9:12am in Chicago.  Assume it is the same scam as the previous number 877 898 1211, which has called me several times.  I am reporting this to both the DoNotCall Register and the FCC

Same situation as the others have described. I've reported every single phone call from this group (from the various numbers) to the FCC, starting 3 months ago, and nothing has been resolved.

I keep getting these calls.  Have listened to a couple to see if there comes a point where I can respond no, but only a number is left to call.  I have not returned any calls.

I've received several calls from this number. All messages have been left on
my answering machine to press 0 or call this number back to receive the loan.

yeah i got a call with a recorded message for a loan approval from someone named marylin... dunno who that is.  i called back, and it was a pretty generic recording.  it asked me if i had a bank account.  i told them i owned a f$@#$ing bank.  then swore like a sailor at them.

This number keeps calling. I do not answer but thought I'd add it to your list of people.

Same comment as all the others.  I am tried of the calls.  Is it a scam???.

Left a message saying if you don't call back they will forfeit the loan application though I never applied for a loan.

Incoming call from "Loan Processing" from this number, message saying to call back to confirm loan information and "thank you for calling".  We have NOT called for a loan - this is a telemarketer call, why are they still getting away with this!

They keep hanging up when I answer.

Who and where is this coming from?  I didn't apply for any loan and don't appreciate getting this crap.  Especially since it's on my Mother's phone and not mine!!  How do I find out what is going on?

They just called at 6:52. They call from different numbers, always the same message. It's an obvious scam, a bogus loan co..
If you block the numbers, they switch to calling from another one. I filed a complaint with the FCC but nothing has happened. I am on the DNC list and I now think the DNC list a joke because it made it all worse.You'd think the FCC would peruse sites like this and get an instant wealth of information of which numbers and companies they should be targeting but it's the government so it's all about red tape and excess paperwork and incompetence.

They always use the name "greg" in the recorded message no matter what number they call from. Apparently they have the LA area code now but other numbers in the past have been: 877-890-1211- and 1291, etc, 877-882-9396, on and on it goes. Do NOT answer the phone. When you disconnect, they don't. Again this is  a scam obviously meant to prey on people desperate enough to think they can get a loan this way.
