They called my cell phone and asked for some Jacklyn Cisco or something like that.  I told them they had a wrong number, but I like having their 800 number now.  I am going to call them asking for jacklyn and see what they have to say! lol

They or whoever they are called 2 in like less than 5min. It really weird!?!?!?!?

Just a phone call from these guys, no idea who they are looking for.

I keep getting calls from this company (always the same guy in India) seeking to collect an invalid debt. They continue to call daily, even though I have told them repeatedly that the person they are looking for doesn't live there. I believe this is someone who bought the alleged "debt" from Verizon (we disputed in 2005) on a long-disconnected phone number. But I can't make them go away. Is there any recourse short of changing my phone number? If we get an unlisted one again, can they still follow the trail and call on the new number?  This is very annoying, and it's getting more persistent.

we go this person calling us for a debt that has not been active for a while but has been recently settled in the family they called asking for 700$ to settle the debt and we told him to mail us the the bill and we will send the money back (just as a joke to get them to send something so we can turn it in to the police for fraud) then they asked to have our S.S. # and we said we deal with all our bills over the U.S.A postal and then they asked us to fax a copy of the check and it will be settled with in a few mins. i really think these guy are very malicious and they need to be this dismember. so every time they call you play with there head. but don't ever give them your personal info.

This cell phone belongs to my boyfriend who wants me tohave it for emergencies.
HE ABSOLUTEY HAS NO OUTSTANDING DEBTS so, I' have gotten calls with hangups on my(my b. friends) cell and I answered tonite and no one is there.  
I have no idea what this is about. I wish I could shut them down.
I apprecitae this sight though, cuz I know that others are harassed by this co/person.  I don't even know who is calling. IS THIS A CO. A PERSON OR WHAT? DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO THIS IS.  Maybe my lawyer would be interested in something like this. He is always looking for a GOOD fight.

DO NOT GIVE ANY PERSOANL INFO EVEN IF YOU DO OWE SOMETHING. THEY WANT TO PUSH TO TAKE YOUR CHECK acCTOUNT OVER THE PHONE. NO WAY. DON'T DO IT.

there was a voicemail to call but did'nt say who they were calling for except that they were "attempting to collect a debt".  I won't call them back after reading all the comments on this site.  Thanks.

I got a call twice from the 223-051-6100 (08-06-2008). They had my personal info and claimed they were NCO Financial systems, but I contacted NCO and they said they never called and do not recognize this number. They continue to call to setlle a debt that was resolved in 2007.

I just received a call from the Buffoons in India. They claimed they were from NCO. In fact NCO isn't even open right now. They closed at 5. It is 7. I refused to give the first guy any info because I couldn't understand what he was saying other than give me your financial and social security info. When I refused he put his "supervisor" on the phone. He tried to tell me that I had to hurry because they were about to report out to the major credit agencies. Blah, Blah. Needless to say I gave them  no information and a hard time, I suggest everyone does the same. I told them I would mail the check and they asked if I was "speculative." Red Flag.  HANG UP OR SCREW WITH EM IT'S YOUR CHOICE. JUST DON'T GIVE THEM ANYTHING.

On Labor Day I received a call from this number(didn't answer) and yes I do have debts with NCO but I have long ago sent letters to all my creditors that I will only address these issues via US Postal Service.  I agree with many of the comments above by and large give them no personal information and request that they mail the request so you can forward it to your lawyer. (I unfortunately actually have one to deal with my debt mess, but even if you don't that will probably slow them down.)  If you do have a lawyer DO NOT give them that name and address...they should have it if they are a legit credit and you have provided it to them in writing.  So, once again...give no additional information over the phone or just don't answer :)

They claim to be NCO Financial - from Canada??
I have just received 2 calls in a row.
They claim that I have a debt - one that I have already taken care of.
The guy sounds like he is from India - the person - says his name is Rohid.
This guy wanted me to call him back at 866-756-1447.
How can we stop these annoying phone calls?
I cannot afford a lawyer! But I really would like these calls to stop!!

These people just want to harass you!!

I got a call from 223-051-6100 and it is from NCO. The guy that left the message is the same guy that I have been talking to when I have been calling NCO's 800 #. I do agree, do not give out your info to anyone unless you are calling a company direct and know who they are.

got a cal from both 223-051-6100 and 223-051-6400 some indian guy saying he was from nco. when i told him i was talking to a banruptcy attorney her gave me to his manager they were kinda aggresive at first and they kept telling me that this was not on my credit report yet when i told hem i was going to pull my credit report. after telling them to mail me some info and that they could only talk to my bankruptcy attorney they backed off and told me to call them when i wanted to make arraingments to pay

yes I am not kidding. have some fun with the guy on the other side of the phone. see their job is to harass you till you had enough and pay so they stop calling you, but these ass wipes don't think for themselves or don't care to think that you may not have the money, or your stuck on a crocked contract, but the law is the law....what B/S.so pretend he has the wrong person and keep on passing the phone, or speak in a weird tone only you can understand. I had a mess up deal from the beginning I told them I wanted out. so they took me to collection. they try to harass me but stop soon enough when they seen it was a tree they were talking about. people let these [***] vultures mess with them in the name of the ........law and the [***] bank. screw them like they are screwing us now. try it, it will work and your family will have fun too. stopping the harass calls
