Missed call shows up on caller ID. Tried to call back since I have relatives in Melbourne - but number is disconnected???  How does one disconnect a phone in 2 minutes!!!

I received a recorded message from this number saying I have been selected for a free cruise.  When I call the number back I get a message saying the number has been disconnected.

I just got an automated call from this number which told me to hold about info on renewing my automobile warranty.  They wanted me to supply my VIN number.  When I declined and told them that they called me and I would like to know why, they hung up on me.

Missed call. Did not know the number so I was trying to find out who it was because I don't know anyone from that area.

Ugh!  So much for the Do Not Call List, huh?

Called and left no message. I didn't answer and didn't try to call the number back.

register all your phones with the National Do Not Call list, including all cell phones.  When you receive one of these calls, file a complaint about that number.  This site is nice to see what calls other people are getting from numbers, but the do not call list will take action against companies with enough complaints.

Rec'd call - automated - something about vehicle.  Rec'd 2x before about extended warranty.  Always automated.  I hang up before entire spiel is given.  I've owned my vehicle outright since purchase 10yrs ago.  I am also on the do not call list.  I called bk as well as many of you have & rec'd the same "out of service" msg.  Apparently this happens w/ many other #'s but only 1 other # to me a yr ago.

These people claimed to be calling about the warranty on my car.  When I asked how they got my number the guy hung up on me.

I missed a call from 321-729-9349 and then knowing that I have a friend I just got into contact with in FLA I chose to call back and somehow the number is disconnected?!?!  Freaky!!!

Got a call from this number, no message left. Tried to reverse number search, just listed as a landline, but no further information.

same old computer voice telling me it is my last chance to get a better rate on my credit card. I WISH IT WAS MY LAST CALL. If this is a persons voice that is on the recording, I will recognize it in a second, if I ran into them on the street. I get so many calls from so many numbers with the same old scams using the same voice to reduce my credit rating or my warranty has run out or lower rates on my mortgage. I have no credit cards no mortgage, and I have never had a warranty on any car I have ever owned!!! I could not guarantee her safety if I ran into her.

number was on my caller id when I returned home.  When I called the number the operator said this number was no longer in service.  This was less than an hour after I received the call.

Got a call from this Fla.number.  Picked up the phone.  A recorded message said they have called me several times but have been unable to reach me (not true) and that unless I press ONE some kind of vehicle protection that I have will be cancelled.  I pressed ONE and a female voice asked me for detailed information on my car.  I asked who was asking for this info.  She hung up.  I redialed the Fla number and got a recording "I'm sorry you have reached a number that is no longer in service".

Same as everyone else. They called me, when I pressed 1 to find out about my "vehicle warranty" I got a lady who asked me for the information on the vehicle. I told her I didn't know which car she was calling about and she hung up on me. Will report to AT&T.  Oh, and I'm on the Do Not Call List, and will report this violation on that website.

When I called back, I also got the "number disconnected" recording.

I'm on the "no call" list but still saw # on caller I.D.  Like all others what is this crap?

I also am in Dallas area and received a call.  Sommeone told me about scam where they ID your number and start putting charges to that number.  Not sure if this is the case but it should be reported.
