I recieved a phone call from 516-224-6026.  they did not leave a message.  But I do not have cablevision and never have been a cablevision cusotmer

They have been calling me none stop through out the day.  Once I hang up I do not get a call from them.  The one time a person spoke they said they were a cable vision telemarketer.  I am a cablevision customer and that is not one of their numbers.

They keep calling me about their Triple Play offer that I tell them I don't want every time.

I keep on getting call from 516-224-6026. They keep on calling me recently. When I pickup the phone no one answers the call. Well just now by reading above comments came to know its from CableVision/Optimum Cable. Next time i will not pickup this call.

I received a call from them..I am cablevision customer, dont know why they are calling me again.

this number has called me 10 time in a 24 hour period!!!!!

This number called me too without leaving a message. Good to know who it is cuz Cablevision  telemarketing calls me often although i told them I moved out of their area.

This number called me 03/21/08 at 7;55pm. No message, they just hung up. I do have Cablevision.

I left Cablevision and went to Verizon FIOS, because even when I had cable they kept calling.  It was so annoying! And they are still calling

I filled out a form on the optimum website to get their broadband package at noon today, and then this number just called me at two. There's no place else they could have gotten the number since its a pretty new cellphone. When I answered there was nothing on the line and they hang up within a couple of seconds.

Also - the form I filled had this note
*Your information will only be used by the Optimum Online service and its cable partners to determine serviceability, and will not be passed on to third parties.

I wouldn't consider calling my cellphone randomly and hanging up to have anything to do with serviceability.

I've received 3 calls in the last 15 hours from this number.  It makes sense that it's Optimum because I also filled out the form online to get new service and gave my cell phone number.  I tried a reverse lookup, and the number is a land line in Cold Spring Harbor, NY.  

Maybe I won't get optimum after all.

i recieve a call from this number at least once a day. no message left and shows up as an out of area call.

Call the number back and you can be put on there "DO NOT CALL LIST"

I just signed up for the Optonline service and they keep calling. I refuse to pick up the phone for a number i do not recognize. They never leave messages. I don't know how to make it stop!

Call cablevision's do not call list at 18884252088 to remove your phone number.

You will love this..

I am a cablevision tech and I get at least 2 calls a day from this number.
I have tried to have sales management stop the calls to my house.

I've had the same experience, Cablevision telemarketing and they don't leave a message.

I have had 6 calls to my cell phone in the last 4 days....and cablevision wonders why they are losing costomers to Fios?

Thank goodness it's cablevision, it had me worried- they called while I was asleep, in class, while my phone was silent- I kept missing it and was starting to think it might be important. That's how I found this haha. I am a customer, and when I lived at home our cable company would call nonstop-even though we were already a customer. Why do they do that???

Haha, I also thought it was somebody harassing me, or collections, and I was relieved to find this page.  I did a reverse lookup, but only found that they were located in Cold Spring Harbor, Long Island, NY, and I wasn't going to pay for details.

I will post back in 3 weeks if the do-not-call addition actually worked.  I want cellphone software that can ban #'s!
